Tole Haven hosts the gaming club for the serious hobby modeller, with all the experience you could want, we have people of all ages in our gaming club, whether you are a novice or a hardened veteran of gaming we are here for you. The gaming club is a stand alone club which caters for gaming in the following fields, Games Workshop Gaming, Flames Of War Gaming, Warmachine and Hordes, Malifaux, World of Warcraft Card Game, Magic The Gathering Card Game, Operation Squad and many more Specialist Games.
Most of the specialist games consist of Skirmish games which are still popular today. We are always open to new games, and do try to diverse whenever possible to try new games or ideas.
The club meets every Friday at Tole Haven, from 4.00pm to 7.00pm. One Sunday in every three months we meet instead of the friday, we game from 10am to 4pm on a sunday, please phone the store and check first before visiting. So whether its your first time playing a game or have been a veteran for years, we will have a challenge for you. Just pop in and have a chat to our friendly staff who are always willing to help you, we can run you through a basics game or help you with more advanced rules. Our regular gamers are always helpful and willing to enhance new gamers knowledge, and skills on the battlefield!
The Hornchurch Heroes Gaming Club is now part of the Gaming Club Network, this is a network of gaming clubs that caters for the hobbyist and all forms of the gaming aspect. It helps to promote local clubs throughout the country and enables gaming clubs like ours to become better known and advertised via magazines and websites, like the White Dwarf magazine.
We are constantly adding to our gaming range, including building new gaming boards and themes, if you are interested in getting your hands dirty with modelling terrain and gaming board builds, then contact us at the shop.
Listed below is our friday night gaming club schedule, which covers most of the major gaming systems, we will be holding a special themed nights on the 10th & 17th of February, and one on the 30th of March. Themed Gaming lets you get involved in the specific game on that night, it allows you to learn new games and play some old favourites. If you are not interested in the specific game on the night, then bring something you know someone else is likely to have. Don’t worry if you don’t have the relevant figures to play our Themed Games, you can either bring what you do have, or use our clubs miniatures and learn how to play!
